Started late 2005,
Early 2006 their first demos recorded. These, although not
sounding as the band liked received great reviews and local
radio airplay, getting compared them to the likes of the la’s.
May 2006 played the International Pop Overthrow festival held on
Mathew Street, in a BBC review by Spencer Leigh dubbed as
“the
best of the local bunch”
August 2006, first band to play live on BBC’s Radio Merseyside
since stations relocation to Hanover Street.
September 2006, recorded their 1st E.P., The Rooftop EP.
The track ‘Out
of Time’ from the EP was played at Anfield before the Liverpool
Arsenal FA Cup tie.
2007 the band
took to the road heading to likes of Yorkshire, Manchester and
the University of Central Lancashire supporting the EMI signed
“Radar” at 53 degrees (UCLAN Guild).
Supported Comedian/Singer/Songwriter Matt Berry on his U.K tour
appearance at the Liverpool Carling Academy, offered to support
for rest of his UK tour, had to decline due to personal reasons.
2007 also saw the launch of the bands new residency night
“Pandemonium” in the Old Bank, Waterloo, which takes place on
the last Sunday of Every month and features the best local
unsigned bands.
Late 2007 the band started recording their E.P. “Give it
the Beans” which continued into 2008.
Christmas 2007 the band trekked out to Belgium to play at an RAF
base.
In Early 2008 the Band lost guitarist Adam Jones and drafted in
new guitarist Austin Ronald Ray Jnr.
2008 so far has seen sell out shows at Liverpool Carling Academy, and Preston 53degrees, headline slot at IPO festival, support slots including John Power and The Christians, as well as a television appearance.
Give it the Beans EP is now finally due for release.
